Frequently asked questions

What is the return policy?

At MatchSox, we want you to feel confident ordering men’s ties, wedding ties, groomsmen ties, and coordinating dress socks for life’s most important occasions. Any unused and unworn item may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. This includes eligible men’s dress ties, solid-color ties, floral ties, patterned neckties, kids’ ties, dress socks, and matching tie-and-sock sets.

If the color, pattern, or style is not quite right for your suit, wedding colors, groom or groomsmen attire, church outfit, professional wardrobe, or special event, contact MatchSox customer service to request a return authorization. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label to make the process as simple and convenient as possible.

Once we receive your returned men’s tie, wedding tie, or pair of dress socks, our team will inspect the item to confirm that it meets the return requirements. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to seven days for the refund to appear in your account. Exchanges are also available when you would prefer a different tie color, wedding pattern, or coordinating sock option.

MatchSox also offers a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Review our Return Policy for complete information about returns, refunds, exchanges, and product guarantees.

How long are MatchSox ties?

MatchSox ties are approximately 57 inches, or 145 centimeters, long and are designed to fit most men. Customers who need a longer tie can contact us to discuss available options.

When will I get my order?

We work quickly to get your MatchSox order on its way as soon as possible. Most orders, including men’s ties, wedding ties, groomsmen ties, solid dress socks, and matching tie-and-sock sets are processed within 1–2 business days.

Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. MST on a business day are eligible for same-day processing, making it easier to receive your men’s dress ties or wedding accessories quickly. Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will generally begin processing on the next business day.

Please remember that processing time and shipping time are separate. After your order has been processed and shipped, the delivery timeframe will depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Customers ordering wedding ties for the groom or groomsmen, coordinating dress socks, or accessories for an upcoming formal event should choose a shipping option that provides enough time before the event date.

For large wedding-party orders or time-sensitive purchases, we recommend ordering your ties and socks as early as possible to allow time for delivery and any necessary exchanges.

What are MatchSox dress socks made from?

MatchSox men’s dress socks are made from a premium cotton blend designed to provide dependable comfort, a polished fit, and durability for repeated wear. The soft cotton-blend fabric makes these socks a versatile option for weddings, work, church, business meetings, formal events, and everyday professional attire.

Each pair features cushioned padding through the foot and arch area for added support and comfort throughout the day. Soft compression helps create a secure, streamlined fit, while the ribbed top is designed to keep the socks comfortably in place and reduce slipping or bunching inside dress shoes.

Our solid-color dress socks are especially easy to coordinate with men’s ties, wedding ties, groomsmen ties, suits, and formalwear. They can be paired with a matching solid tie for a clean, coordinated look or worn with a floral or patterned necktie that includes a similar color.

Whether you are choosing wedding socks for the groom and groomsmen, comfortable dress socks for work, or a matching tie-and-sock set for a special occasion, MatchSox socks are designed to look polished while remaining comfortable enough for extended wear.

Are any purchases final sale?

Yes, certain MatchSox products may be designated as final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Any final-sale item will be clearly identified before you complete your purchase, so you can review the return eligibility before ordering.

When shopping for men’s ties, wedding ties, groomsmen ties, coordinating dress socks, or matching tie-and-sock sets, please check the product page and order details carefully for any final-sale notice. We especially recommend confirming the tie color, pattern, width, quantity, and coordinating sock selection when purchasing accessories for a wedding party, formal event, church outfit, or business wardrobe.

Products that are not marked as final sale may still qualify for a return or exchange when they meet our standard eligibility requirements. For complete details about excluded items, return deadlines, refunds, and exchanges, please review our Refund and Return Policy before placing your order.

Do you offer discounts on wedding ties for groomsmen?

Yes. MatchSox currently offers tiered wedding discounts based on the number of ties ordered:

1–4 ties: 10% off with code WEDDING10
5–9 ties: 15% off with code WEDDING15
10 or more ties: 20% off with code WEDDING20

You can check out our wedding page for more information on wedding discounts for ties and socks!

Do I receive a discount when I buy a tie and socks together?

Yes. MatchSox offers 15% off tie and sock bundles, making it easier and more affordable to coordinate wedding ties and dress socks for the groom, groomsmen, fathers, and other members of the wedding party.

You can mix and match any men’s tie with any pair of MatchSox dress socks and still receive the bundle discount. Choose matching solid-color ties for a traditional groomsmen look, or pair floral and patterned wedding ties with coordinating solid socks for a more personalized style. Each groomsman can wear the same tie-and-sock combination, or you can select different tie designs that complement the same wedding color palette.

Our wedding tie and sock bundles are an easy way to complete your groomsmen attire while saving on accessories that can be worn again after the wedding. Whether you need sage green wedding ties, dusty blue groomsmen ties, navy ties, black dress socks, or coordinating men’s tie and sock sets, you can create the combination that works best with your suits, bridesmaid dresses, and overall wedding colors.

Simply select your preferred tie and coordinating socks to build a discounted MatchSox bundle.

How far in advance should I order groomsmen ties and socks?

We recommend ordering your groomsmen ties, wedding socks, and coordinating tie-and-sock sets several weeks before your wedding date. Ordering early gives you enough time to review the colors with your suits, bridesmaid dresses, and overall wedding palette, while also allowing time for delivery, exchanges, or last-minute additions to the wedding party.

MatchSox orders generally require 1–2 business days for processing, and standard shipping typically takes an additional 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Because wedding plans can change, placing your order several weeks in advance can be especially helpful when purchasing matching accessories for the groom, groomsmen, fathers, ushers, or ring bearer.

Ordering early also gives you time to confirm that your men’s wedding ties, solid dress socks, floral ties, patterned ties, or matching groomsmen accessories coordinate with the rest of the wedding attire. For larger wedding-party orders, we recommend allowing additional time in case you need to add another groomsman, exchange a tie color, or order an extra pair of coordinating socks.

If your wedding is approaching and you need your ties and socks as soon as possible, please contact MatchSox before placing your order. Let us know your event date, the number of wedding ties or tie-and-sock bundles you need, and your delivery location. While delivery by a specific date cannot always be guaranteed, our team will do everything reasonably possible to help identify the fastest available processing and shipping options.

Where are your products manufactured?

MatchSox products are manufactured through a combination of local and global manufacturing partners. Depending on the specific product, our men’s ties, wedding ties, groomsmen ties, coordinating dress socks, and tie-and-sock sets may be produced in different locations.

We carefully select each manufacturing partner based on their ability to provide dependable quality and a fair value. We pay close attention to the materials, construction, comfort, durability, color consistency, and overall appearance of our products. This allows us to offer a broad selection of solid ties, floral ties, patterned neckties, men’s dress socks, and matching wedding accessories at accessible prices.

Whether you are purchasing a single men’s dress tie for work or church, a matching tie-and-sock bundle, or coordinating wedding ties for an entire group of groomsmen, our goal is the same: to provide well-made accessories that look polished, feel comfortable, and can be worn again after the occasion.

We believe high-quality men’s accessories can be made both locally and globally when they are produced by reliable partners and held to thoughtful quality standards.

Does MatchSox offer a missionary tie discount?

Yes. MatchSox offers a special discount for LDS missionaries and missionary families purchasing ties for full-time missionary service. When you purchase four or more men’s ties, you can receive 20% off your qualifying tie order by entering the code MISSIONARY20 at checkout.

The missionary discount makes it easier to build a practical rotation of LDS missionary ties for daily wear, church meetings, teaching appointments, zone conferences, and other formal occasions. You can choose from solid ties, floral ties, and patterned neckties to create a versatile missionary tie bundle that coordinates with white dress shirts, suits, and dress pants.

MatchSox cotton ties are a thoughtful option for missionaries preparing to serve, missionaries already in the field, or families looking for a useful missionary farewell gift. Purchasing several styles gives the missionary more variety while still keeping each outfit polished, professional, and appropriate for missionary service.

To receive the discount, add at least four qualifying ties to your cart and enter MISSIONARY20 during checkout.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs for MatchSox orders are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location, the products in your order, and the shipping method you select. Whether you are purchasing a single men’s dress tie, coordinating solid dress socks, a matching tie-and-sock set, or wedding ties for an entire group of groomsmen, you will always see the exact shipping price before completing your purchase.

MatchSox also offers free domestic shipping on all orders over $35. This makes it easier to save when ordering multiple men’s ties, wedding accessories, missionary ties, or coordinating socks for the groom, groomsmen, fathers, ushers, and other members of the wedding party.

For orders under $35, the available shipping methods and rates will be displayed during checkout. If you are ordering wedding ties, groomsmen ties, dress socks, or tie-and-sock bundles for an upcoming event, be sure to compare the available delivery options and choose the method that best fits your timeline.

The tie and socks are a great combination to finish off a wedding suit

The tie and socks are a great combination to finish off a wedding suit. I even added an extra pair of socks because they are extremely comfortable to wear.
I was impressed with packaging and the care that was taken to insure that I received them in a clean and wrinkle free. High quality and nice looking product!
